Benjamin Blundercheck's Rock n Roll Chess Riot is back, this time at one of Hampton's most popular gathering spots, Oozlefinich Beers and Blending. For the uninitiated, a CHESS RIOT is a tournament with a high energy twist, infusing live music, wild game variations including Musical Chess (think musical chairs), surprise tournament points, and much more!

This tournament is the second in a series of FIVE Grand Prix events.  Attend as many as you can to win BlunderCoins for the Grand Prize! For info about the Grand Prix Series and event information visit BenjaminBlundercheck.com. 

For this event, expect varied time controls ranging from 25 minutes to blitz.  Exact format and schedule will be emailed to pre-registrants and will be available the day of the riot!

There will be two sections: Keytars (Advanced) and Castlers(Beginner).  All Ages and Skill Levels Welcome!!  All games are casual, non-rated, but we will use US Chess rules.

Benjamin Blundercheck & The Poisoned Pawn will be entertaining you with their chess rock!

$10 entry fee / Spectators Free.  Tophies to top finishers in each section.

Event will begin at 1pm.  Please arrive by 12:50 to check in.  Walk-ups will be accepted up until 12:50 for round 1, and latecomers may claim byes for missed rounds (upt to 2).

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER to help us plan and hold your spot.  The tournament is limited to the first 60 players, so please pre-register to ensure you get your entry!
