The final match of the Grand Prix will be the most standard of the series:  We will play 4 games of G/15; d3, meaning each side has 15 minutes on their clock with 3 seconds extra per move.  

SLAPNATION will provide the funky and soulful soundtrack to the tournament and the entire seafood festival!

This tournament is the fourth in a series of FIVE Grand Prix events, and will determine the overall winner.  Attend as many Grand Prix events as you can to win BlunderCoins for the Grand Prize! For info about the Grand Prix Series and event information visit BenjaminBlundercheck.com. 

Registration for the tournament is free with a ticket to the festival.  $65 early bird or $75 after September 11.  Purchase tickets here: https://kiwanispeninsulaseafoodfestival.com.  But Please pre-register for here for free as well!

The festival runs from 3:30 - 7:00.  We will begin Round 1 promptly at 4:30, so please arrive in time to eat and be ready to play by the start time! All games are casual, non-rated, but we will use US Chess rules. Latecomers may claim a single 1/2 point bye for missing round 1.

There will be two sections:  Shrimp (Advanced) and Fish (Beginners).

Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers, and the GRAND PRIX WINNER will be declared!!

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER to help us plan and hold your spot.  The tournament is limited to the first 60 players, so please pre-register to ensure you get your entry!
