The winter/spring Joliet Library Kids Chess Club is open to kids in grades 1-5. The club is geared to beginning scholastic players with under USCF 500 rating. Don't know how to play? We will teach you!

Free Parking Through Parking Validation

To get validated parking at the Ottawa Street Branch:

1. Parking in the Ottawa Street Deck at 110 N. Ottawa Street (just South of the intersection of Clinton and Ottawa Street and the Library).

2. Bring the ticket you receive when you enter the garage with you.

3. Ask a Library staff member at the Circulation or Adult Services desks to stamp and validate your parking ticket.

4. Give stamped ticket to the parking attendance on your way out of the garage. Validations waive all parking fees are valid for the date issued and expire at 11:59 p.m. on the same date.
