Format: 4-round Swiss Style tournament

Time Controls: G/60 with 5 second increments

Four Sections:

• Open (1600 and up)
• U1600 (1200-1599)
• U1200 (800-1199)
• U800 (799 and under)

       *  Players with 100 points of rating floor of a higher section may play up for an additional $5

Important:

• All sections USCF rated (Regular Rating)
• USCF membership required (may join or renew here: Join USCF or renew or on site)
• Jun 2025 USCF Regular rating will be used for section eligibility, pairings, and prize eligibility. The decision of the Chief Tournament Director regarding eligibility, rating adjustments, conversions, unofficial ratings, or other rating issues are final.
• A maximum of two half-point byes are available. Half-point byes for rounds 1-2 must be requested no later than 30 minutes before the start of tournament. Half-point byes for rounds 3-4 must be requested before the start of round 2. Any byes requested may not be revoked after round 2 starts.
• Boards, sets, clocks, scoresheets, and writing utensils will be provided for all sections.

Prizes:

• Open & U1600:   1st -- 25%, 2nd -- 15%, 3rd -- 10% Cash Prizes
• U1200 & U800: 1st -- 15% Cash Prize + Trophy, 2nd -- Trophy, 3rd -- Trophy

      *   Participants can choose to redeem cash prizes for cash or credit to go to future tournament entry

Schedule: Round times -> Rd 1: 9:00 AM, Rd 2: 11:30 AM, Rd 3: 2:00 PM, Rd 4: 4:30 PM

Entry Fees: $40.00 by Wed, May 28th; $45.00 by Fri, May 30th; $50.00 on-site Sun, Jun 1st

Online Registration: Chess Emporium Sunday Swiss G/60
Online registration is available until 11:59 PM MST Sat, May 31st.
On-site registration is until 8:30 AM on Jun 1st.
Late on-site registration is available with half-point byes for any rounds that are missed.

Refunds: Refunds may be requested until one hour before the start of round 1. No refunds will be given after that time. All refunds will incur a 5% processing fee.
