FIDE ID Requirement

All players must have a valid FIDE ID to participate.

Tournament Format

Section: Open (All players compete together)

10 Double Rounds (20 games total)
Swiss System
Time Control: G/3 + 2 (3 minutes with a 2-second increment per move)

Entry Fee: Free (Suggested Donation: $10)

Player Cap: 60 players

Schedule

3:00 PM – Doors Open

3:30 PM – 3:45 PM – Check-In
Players who have not checked in by 3:45 PM may be removed from the tournament unless they have notified me by text or in person.

4:00 PM – Double Round 1
4:25 PM – Double Round 2
4:50 PM – Double Round 3
5:15 PM – Double Round 4
5:40 PM – Double Round 5
6:05 PM – Double Round 6
6:30 PM – Double Round 7
6:55 PM – Double Round 8
7:20 PM – Double Round 9
7:45 PM – Double Round 10

Approximately 8:10 PM – Tournament Concludes

Rules & Requirements

FIDE Blitz Rules apply.
Players must bring their own chess board and clock.
Default forfeit time: 3 minutes.
